13.	INCOME TAXES

During the three months ended March 31, 2014 and 2013, the Company's consolidated effective tax rates were 41.7 % and 40.4 %, respectivel, approximating the expected 41% normalized rate for each period. There were no significant unusual income tax items during either the three months ended March 31, 2014 or 2013.
