ITEM 5.02(d). ELECTION OF DIRECTOR.
     Effective as of October 6, 2005, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Silicon Image, Inc. (the “Registrant”) elected William George as a new member of the Board. Mr. George was designated as a Class I director and will stand for re-election at the 2006 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Mr. George has not yet been named to serve on any committee of the Board. Upon his election to the Board, Mr. George was granted a stock option to purchase 40,000 shares of the Registrant’s Common Stock under the Registrant’s 1999 Equity Incentive Plan and is eligible to receive certain annual compensation pursuant to the Registrant’s Director Compensation Plan as described in the Registrant’s Current Report on Form 8-K filed on April 11, 2005.
