9. Inventories

Inventory obsolescence expense totaled $3.1 million and $0.6 million during fiscal years 2025 and 2024, respectively. Raw materials include semi-finished goods and component parts that totaled approximately $9.1 million and $8.6 million at September 30, 2025 and 2024, respectively.
