(Attach extra Sheets if Needed)

Medallion Financial Corp. (the “Company”) is unable to timely file the Form 10-K without unreasonable effort or expense because information necessary to determine whether certain of the Company’s taxi medallion loans should be classified as troubled debt restructurings, and the resulting calculation of the amount of the allowance for loan losses for such loans, is not presently available. In addition, various Company employees are working remotely and do not have on site access to such information due to health precautions.
