Item 8.01 Other Events.
On September 15, 2025, Avant Technologies Inc., a Nevada corporation (the “Company”) filed an application with the Financial Industry Regulation Authority (FINRA) in order to change the name of the Company. The Company’s ticker symbol will remain “AVAI” until FINRA declares the corporate action effective and assigns a new trading symbol, if applicable. The Company is seeking to change the name of the Company from Avant Technologies Inc. to Avaí Bio, Inc. to better reflect the current business of the Company.
