On December 20, 2021, Novavax, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the European Commission (the “EC”) granted the Company conditional marketing authorization for its Nuvaxovid™ COVID-19 Vaccine (recombinant, adjuvanted) for active immunization to prevent COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2 in individuals 18 years of age and older. A copy of this press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
