Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On December 4, 2024, President-elect Donald J. Trump announced his appointment of Frank J. Bisignano, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fiserv, Inc. (the “Company”), to serve as Commissioner, Social Security Administration. The appointment of Mr. Bisignano is subject to confirmation by the U.S. Senate, and Mr. Bisignano will continue in his current positions with the Company until confirmation occurs. On December 5, 2024, the Company issued a press release announcing Mr. Bisignano’s nomination. A copy of this press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
