To whomever it may concern,
Please reinstate the uptick rule. Without it, stocks can be thrashed by short sellers who can abuse the system. The uptick rule was designed to help the regular investors, but without it, the regular investors like myself are getting taken advantage of by large hedge funds. Please reinstate the uptick rule, there was a very important reason why it was created in the first place -- and for that reason, without the uptick rule, there's still a good possibility for a prolonged "Great Recession," which history might consider the Second Great Depression (at least in terms of percentages).
