Back in July I wrote a comment asking the SEC to make the restrictions on naked short selling permanent. It is now September, and we have seen the recent chaos in the financial markets. I ask you, when will the SEC restore and enforce restrictions on naked short selling that will apply to all stocks, across the board? When the value of portfolios and retirement accounts of small investors is wiped out? When Hell freezes over? Thank you.
