For the sake of investors in this country please do what is necessary to bring some sense of order in the market and stop rampant ravaging of stocks by shorts and hedge funds
please (1) enact a temporary band on ALL short selling in U.S. markets,(2) enact a temporary band on sale on all stock market put options,(3) halt trading in all short and ultra short stock market ETFs, (4) permanently end the waiver on the uptick rule, (5) institute these changes immediately for maximum impact.
Do something to restore investor confidence in this market. It's already too late.
