The SEC needs to make the rules prohibiting naked short selling permanent and applicable to all stocks. Since the rule has expired, I am amazed at the number of dubious studies that have been published allegedly showing the rule had a detremental effect on stocks. These reports are nothing more than reports supported by hedge funds who have been manipulating the market for years. The manipulation of stocks must stop to ensure that all market paticipants can have faith that the US markets are not manipulated. Stop naked shorting.
