SEC Search Enhancements
On May 30, 2013, the SEC launched several search improvements.
New Search Engine on SEC.gov
The SEC.gov search is now powered by USASearch, which offers highly relevant search results that will help users quickly find the content they're looking for on SEC.gov. This search tool is available on the SEC.gov homepage and other search features throughout the site. The previous search tool is still available as the SEC's legacy search engine, which can be accessed on the more search options page.
USASearch is provided by the Office of Citizen Services and Innovative Technologies, U.S. General Services Administration. Over 1,500 government websites currently use USASearch to power their search box and improve their visitors' search experience.
Enhanced EDGAR Search Pages
The SEC updated the visual layout of key EDGAR search pages to enhance navigation. The Company Search page, the Mutual Fund Search page, and the Variable Insurance Products Search all feature the updated user interface.
In addition, you can preview an updated, streamlined "beta" view of the Company Filings Results Page. Once you navigate to a specific entity's filings in EDGAR, a yellow button to view the beta page will appear on the top right of the header.
