IT MAKES ME SICK TO THINK THE SEC WOULD CONTINUE TO ALLOW THE NASD TO ATTACK REGISTERED REPRESENTATIVES OF BROKER-DEALERS AFFILIATED WITH LIFE INSURANCE COMPANIES. THE MAJORITY OF THE "BAD GUYS" HAVE ALWAYS BEEN WITH THE BIG WIRE HOUSES YET WE CONTINUE TO BE ATTACKED. NASD PROPOSED RULE 2821 IS UNNECESSARY AND SHOULD NEVER BE APPROVED AND IMPLEMENTED. IT IS TIME FOR THE INSURANCE COMPANIES TO STAND UP TO THE NASD AND EXPOSE THEM AS LOBBYISTS FOR THE BIG WIRE HOUSES. YES, I KNOW THEY REPRIMAND THEM AND PERFORM IMPORTANT AND THOROUGH AUDITS, BUT THEY ARE ALWAYS HELPING THEM BY SUPPORTING RULE CHANGES THAT BENEFIT THE BIG HOUSES AT OUR EXPENSE.
