Katz, Secretary Securities and Exchange Commission 450 Fifth Street, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20549-0609 Dear Sir: I approve of the Boston Options Exchange (BOX) and their proposal to help option traders get better prices and trade executions through their proposed "Price Improvement Period" (PIP). As an individual investor in options, I have found that the professionals make it difficult to compete when buying and selling options. I believe that PIP will even the playing field for the small investor and help defeat their efforts to dominate trades at the bid and ask prices given the current minimum option price increment. Please approve of their application(s) right away! Sincerely, Ken Peek 450 E. Sumac Lane Provo, UT 84604 801 375-9108 --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
