Dear Sirs and Madams (of the overworked and underappreciated SEC,
     
I use FreeEdgar services to research the companies that I own and really 
like the ability to access information quickly a lot, since I am an 
individual stockholder.
     
While I think the proposed rules for allowing PDF formats may sound 
nice, it will have the unfortunate unintended consequence of delaying 
access to information that I need and want.
     
Please do not require this format change.  Optional use is fine, but 
requiring is will not help the individual investor.
