Madam/Sir:
I recently received a letter from an investment banking firm, advising SEC 
is reproposing a rule amendment to Rule 15c2-11.  According to the letter 
your proposed amendments would require market makers to review and pass on 
the accuracy of a company's financial reporting.
     
Before I pass judgment on the Rule, I would appreciate in plain and simple 
language, what burden or responsibility this amendment will place on 
market makers or any other securities service company.
