I wanted to voice my concern about proposals to limit the ability for companies issuing securities to present slide shows over internet roadshows.
I work for an investment advisor located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our geographic location puts us at a disadvantage in getting access to “live” roadshows as compared to cities like New York, Boston, and San Francisco. Internet roadshows help level the playing feel giving us similar access to roadshows as those in larger cities.
This technology has worked very well in the past and I hope to see it in the future without further restrictions as to the content.
