It's about time that small investors get some help in making sure that various funds and brokerages that hold stock for us act in our best interest, not there own. I read in the paper that a lot of fund managers and advisors are against this rule. Do they have something to hide? I know that this proposal will probably never see the light of day as a real regulation (with billion dollar businesses against it and pro-business, anti consumer republicans in power), but I think it should be.
