From: Lucy Mauriello [LMauriello@entercom.com] Sent: Monday, September 23, 2002 3:03 PM To: rule-comments@sec.gov Subject: Mutual Fund Disclosure (s7-36-02) I support the adoption of a Disclosure Rule. There is no sound reason for a fund's owners to be kept out of the loop on something so important. Pension funds already disclose proxy votes. To contain costs, fund companies could simply post vote reports on their web sites instead of mailing the information. Adpot this rule. We need to change business practices in every way so that ethical standards are met. Also, it is important that mutual funds divest of other interests in particular pension plans. Like Arthur Anderson, you can't audit and consult. Please adopt the disclosure rule. Sincerely, Lucy B. Mauriello
