Date: 03/21/2000 5:43 PM Subject: Proposed Regulation FD Date: March 21, 2000 Dear Chairman Levitt: Thank you for your stand on Full Disclosure. As an individual investor without a great deal of wealth or status, I feel I should have fair access to the same corporate information as the professional institutions doling out investment advise. These are, after all, "public" companies that we are discussing. In order for the public to effectively invest in an open market, we must have access to all pertinent information concerning the companies that we are looking to invest in. Select Disclosure is not only bad for individual investors, it is bad for the market as a whole. It is, in all reality, withholding information from people who currently own, or wish to own, a portion of a given company through stock. This is obviously not a fair and just practice. Thank you doing your best to fight for fairness for all investors. Sincerely, Virginia L. Weilandich St. Clair, MO
