Date: 12/17/1999 4:01 PM Subject: FD Fair Disclosure Rule SEC chairman Alan Levitt I understand that a fair disclosure rule is under consideration by the SEC. This rule would discourage or prevent companies from leaking earning reprts, good and bad news to Wall Street brokers andinvestment bankers who may then profit and shade analysts reports to their favor, posing great harm to unknowing investors ( such as myslf.) It is about time that Fair Disclosure be adopted. It is quite obvious to this serious investor that the deck has been stacked, news has been witheld and distorted BADLY. I copy this to my senators and representatives, Bob Graham, Connie Mack and Joe Scarborough. Rodney K Taylor O.D.
