Date: 12/17/1999 10:57 AM Subject: Proposed regulation FD I understand there is a proposal to require companies to disclose any information that they provide to institutional investors to the public simultaneously. This proposed regulation would be a logical extension of the "insider trading" regulations. While it may have been less practical a hundred years ago, full disclosure is becoming decreasingly burdensome. This is a regulation whose time has come, and I hope you enact it.
