Subject: Proposed Regulation" F D "

Chairman Levitt, 
Thank you for proposing this regulation of "SELECTIVE 
DISCLOSURE". I have been studying the Stock Market,on 
my own,in hope of doing some "intelligent investing" 
to provide for retirement and my grandson's education. 
I have been very frustrated trying to figure out 
"WHY?" stocks go way UP or DOWN in the days "PRIOR" to 
an announcement. I was suspicious that someone had 
"inside information" but I was sure that this was 
"ILLEGAL" and that the Government would not allow 
this.I was so confused that I had "given up" on 
investing,UNTIL today!!!!! I just read an article 
which explained that "SELECTIVE DISCLOSURE" is the 
RULE! in the Securities Industry and that you, 
Chairman Levitt, have decided to end this "ABUSE".I 
sincerely "THANK YOU" and wish you well. Please let me 
know what I can do to help. With so much money 
involved this is bound to be a nasty fight, but I and 
many others now have "HOPE" and we will back you any 
way we can.
