Date: 03/22/2000 1:38 PM Subject: Proposed rule FD I am an individual investor, and find the selective disclosure of information which may affect share price to less than the general investment community to be inconsistent with established policies of fairness. Therefore, I would like to see a ruling to cause publicly traded companies to disclose to not just to analysts, or to institutions, but to the entire investment community. Selective disclosure smacks of insider information. Selective disclosure hurts people like myself, who feel more comfortable managing their own investments rather than handing over that management to a third party. Selective disclosure puts the individual investor at a marked competitive disadvantage. Please rule to resolve this unfair situation. Curt Garner
