Subject: "Proposed Regulation FD" 

As an investor I depend on the fairness of the market and 
availability of all relevant information.  Even if I cannot read 
every press release the arbitrage function of the market ensures 
that all information is properly discounted.  In that interest 
it is vital that all information that a company is going to 
disclose be disclosed publicly for the benefit or detriment of 
all investors.  There should be no room for the cozy special 
relations that partial disclosure fosters between companies and 
their investment bankers.  It is after all for the benefit of 
the buyers and sellers of equities that the markets
exist and in their interest the market should treat all investors 
large and small with equal fairness and disclosure.
     
I wholeheartedly support the SEC's proposed regulation FD.
