Date: 1/5/98 1:49 PM Subject: S7-25-97 RE: Debate on new rule to ban stockholder initiatives at company meetings. I oppose this new rule. It is difficult enough now for individual stockholders to gain a hearing at large companies, either through stockholder meetings or approaching Board members. It is more difficult all the time to access accurate information on Boards and financial statements. Do not vote to restrict individual investors even further by implementing S7-25-97. This would be an anti-democratic regulation which would end up further limiting interaction of women and minority stockholders at company meetings. Please vote down S7-25-97.
