Mr. Leavitt, Chairperson, Securities and Exchange Commission:
     
Please do not change the shareholder and annual meeting rules for 
corporations.  Corporations are publically chartered and the people who 
care to invest in these institutions should have some voice.  It is 
viciously anti-democratic to invite the public to invest without a voice, 
to feed a system in which they have little or no effective means to 
communicate their concerns.
     
I hope that you move to cancel implementation of these unfair shareholder 
rules.  Thanks for your consideration.
