Hello,
     
   I am vehemently opposed to the SEC's proposed rules, S7-25-97.  
These rules would weaken, if not destroy, the rights of shareholders 
to express opposition to policies/positions held by companies that 
they invest in.  As more and more people are realizing the importance 
of socially responsible investing, these rights must be upheld.
