Date: 1/5/98 1:53 PM Subject: s7-25-97 Dear Arthur, As an investor, I would like to express my opposition to rule S7-25-97, the "stockholder gag rule." This law violates not only freedom of speech but once again prevents stockholders (the real owners) from finding out what's going on with the company and deciding how the company should be run. We only find out what the companies we invest in are really doing when Mike Wallace from 60 Minutes shows up on our doorstep to create a PR nightmare and link us, the unsuspecting investor, to another scandal. We want to be informed-NOW-not have to shell out $150 an hour for a damage control consultant later. Thanks and have a great holiday! Valerie Beynon
