Please register my opposition to S7-25-97 the stockholder initiative gag rule. 
Stockholders, I learned in my   6th grade civics class of 1946, are a type of 
ownerof the company.  They have an occasional voice to influence. 
     
If that voice is gagged, then stockholders are being treated as people who 
loan money to the company--that is definitely not what we 6th graders were 
taught to expect!
     
Again--please vote against adoption of this rule.
