As a stockholder in many publicly traded American corporations it is my hope 
that new rules you are considering will mandate independence for members of 
the boards of directors from the managements of the companies they are charged 
to provide over site.

It is also my desire that new rules being considered by the SEC would mandate 
strengthening rights of stockholders to protect and maximize there investments 
over the long run.
