From: Aitken, Ann - GPM [Ann.Aitken@greenpoint.com] Sent: Monday, March 29, 2004 1:50 PM To: 'rule-comments@sec.gov' Subject: S7-19-03 I am a small shareholder in many publicly traded companies. I participated in the Disney vote (ignored) and the HWP vote (also ignored) It is ridiculuous that the current rules do not allow the owners of the companies, the shareholders, to nominate the board of directors. In my view the nominees should come ONLY from the shareholders, not from current board members, and particularly not from "management" board members.
