Proxy materials and many other government materials should be delivered online without the option for paper-based reporting. The electronic frontier has arrived and government must lead the way into the future. While visiting an elementary school, I noticed that the entire 3rd grade was sitting at a computer workstation. American elementary schoolchildren are online everyday and the future is more and more electronic communications.

A transition period should be established for the migration to electronic materials and an exception must be made for the handicapped and others not able to participate. Only those who prove need for an exception will receive delivery other than electronic means.

In 50 years the existence of newspapers and even public schools may be in question, cannot students learn from home with a WiFi connection to the internet and newspapers accessed quicker and better online? Cost effective electronic communications is a revolution that has arrived, let us as Americans lead the way.
