I do not support the elimination of the trade-through ban that is being proposed, because it would give giant investment banks and fund managers an advantage over individual investors. Individual investors have been hurt enough by the abuses of the investment banks and firms over the past few years. Do brokers not have a fiduciary duty to get the best price for all orders placed, including orders from small investors? Eliminating the ban would once again penalize the small investor.
