Subject: 12b-1 fees (s7-09-04)

Dear SEC,
Although I feel that your organization is doing a great job in taking
steps to eliminate the fraud and scandal in the investment industry, I
hope that you would oppose the elimination of 12b-1 fees.  I feel that
these fees are a legitimate form of compensation that I use to pay my
staff to provide ongoing service and support to my mutual fund clients. 
Without these fees, I would not be able to provide the necessary support
for my clients.  We would probably have to direct them to an 800 number
with a different service person every time.  I want to continue to
provide the best service and hope you would allow 12b-1 fees to
continue.
