I do not think this change will be helpful to me at all. I know that brokers who provide a service to me must be paid by someone, either by me directly or by the mutual fund. I really pay either way. I do not buy mutual funds that charge loads and I deal with discount brokers who are sometimes paid by me and sometimes by the fund company. I know that either way, I pay. Any breakdown of the amounts would provide no help to me. In face in the long run these rule changes will only cost the broker and fund company more which means I pay more. I equate this with the requirement for financial institutions to provide details on their privacy policies, just another cost that I pay for the financial service. Charles R.
