Those millions who are invested in mutual funds should have similar rights as stock holders particularly in fair and accurate discloser of information and imput to those who manage their money and their future. Fees should be clear and standardized, overhead and operating expenses should be disclosed. In the banking industry we strive to maintain a squeeky clean image and have myriads of regulations that enforce it. The mutual fund industry requirers the same - after all its not our money.
