My investment portfolio, from which I obtain the majority of my income, is comprised mostly of open end mutual funds. To achieve maximum income for me, I feel these mutual funds boards should have independent board members present and who are not related to the fund families by virtue of employment. These independent members can vote for fund objectives that would insure the most income for the holders of these mutual funds. Please reinstate the rule for independent board members.
