Subject: Petition for Rulemaking (SEC File No. 4-461)

I am submitting this email to express my support for support the
Petition for Rulemaking (SEC File No. 4-461) submitted by the
Committee and James McRitchie.  I hold small numbers of shares in
several companies and have held a large stake in Nortel Networks
until recently.  My experiences, particularily with Nortel
Networks, have convinced me that substantial reform of the
process for electing Board members is imperative.  Please give
all due consideration to the above petition.  I look forward to
the SEC's response to this problem.
