I have also seen the steep decline of numerous family, friends and colleagues' 401K plans and investment accounts, many who now face work years that had been marked for retirment. On top of the injury of economic uncertainty, we have also uncovered and witnessed the appalling corporate frauds and CEO excesses of recent years. Any improvements the SEC can make to the proxy rules that affect shareholders' ability to oversee companies they own would be welcome and appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to review the public's desire for reform. Ilene J. Williger California
