Simply put, naked short selling of stocks by Market Makers is wrong. They should not be allowed to do this. This places an artificial supply of company stock on the market. And if the naked short selling is as big as I believe, then that artificial supply is very big. This causes share prices to be artificially low, which is stealing opportunity/money from inicent investors. Investors should be allowed to buy and sell stock strictly based on laws of supply and demand. Market Makers having the tool of naked short selling, puts them in an unfair/unethical position to make a lot of money. The money Market Markets make via selling shares that don't exist come from inicent investors like myself. People who work hard for thier money, and put whatever little savings they have into what is believed to be a fair market. Naked short selling does not make a fair market. Trading patterns show that even when Market Makers find themselves overly short, and a company comes through with some significant good news, Market Makers just continue to sell shares that don't exist. Then if personel events happen in investors lives, and need to raise money by selling stock when the stock prices are artificially low due to MM activity, investors are ripped off. In summary: Market Makers are stealing from investors by short selling. Let the rules of supply and demand govern stock price, not Market Maker money making agenda's. Take away naked short selling from the Market Maker's money making tool bag. Thank you for your time.
