SEC Announces Schedule of Witnesses for Public Hearing on Auditor Independence

Washington, D.C., July 20, 2000 As previously announced, the Commission is holding a public hearing on Wednesday, July 26, 2000 in connection with its proposed rule amendments regarding auditor independence. The hearing will take place in the William O. Douglas Room of the Commission's headquarters at 450 Fifth Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20549.
