The time for filing a petition for review of the initial decision in this proceeding has expired. No such petition has been filed by the parties, and the Commission has not chosen to review the decision on its own initiative.
Accordingly, notice is hereby given, pursuant to Rule 360(e) of the Commission's Rules of Practice, that the initial decision of the administrative law judge * has become the final decision of the Commission with respect to John Christopher McCamey and Sierra Equity Partners, LP. The order contained in the decision is hereby declared effective. That order required that John Christopher McCamey and Sierra Equity Partners, LP cease and desist from committing or causing any violations and any future violations of Sections 5(a), 5(c), and 17(a) of the Securities Act of 1933, Sections 10(b) and 15(c)(1) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and Exchange Act Rules 10b-5 and 15c1-2, and that John Christopher McCamey be barred permanently from association with any broker or dealer and pay a civil monetary penalty of $60,000.
Payment of the civil money penalty shall be made no later than 21 days after service of this order. The civil money penalty payment must be: (a) made by United States postal money order, certified check, bank cashier's check, or bank money order; (b) made payable to the Securities and Exchange Commission; (c) mailed to the Comptroller, Securities and Exchange Commission, 6432 General Green Way, Suite B, Mail Stop 0-3, Alexandria, Virginia 22312; and (d) submitted under cover letter that identifies John Christopher McCamey as a respondent in this proceeding, as well as the Commission's case number. A copy of the cover letter and money order or check shall be sent to Kent W. McAllister, Division of Enforcement, Midwest Regional Office, Securities and Exchange Commission, 175 West Jackson Blvd., Suite 900, Chicago, Illinois 60604.
