Notice: EDGAR Release 5.20

The production EDGAR system is scheduled to be upgraded to Release 5.20 on April 14, 1997. The Commission has adopted an updated version of the EDGAR Filer Manual for EDGAR version 5.20. This updated Filer Manual will become effective on April 14, 1997. The revisions reflect a number of changes to the EDGAR system described below.

Several new form types have been added to the list of those acceptable to the EDGAR system:

• Two registration form types (F-4MEF and S-4MEF) pursuant to Securities Act Rule 462(b) that allows for the registration of up to an additional 20% of securities for an offering that was registered on a Form F-4 or S-4 respectively.

• Six new investment company form types (40-17F1, 40- 17F2, N-23C-2, N-3C3A, N-23C3B and N-23C3C) and their amendments.
