EDGAR Dissemination Update

The EDGAR PDS Technical Specification document has been updated to incorporate changes to the EDGAR system associated with Release 9.10, scheduled to be deployed on May 5, 2008. As part of Release 9.10, EDGAR will remove EDGAR submission types N-14AE and N-14AE/A from EDGARLink. All open-end funds registering shares on Form N-14 must use EDGAR submission types N-14 and N-14/A, whether or not they are effective automatically under Rule 488.

In addition, the amendments, S-4EF/A and F-4EF/A will be removed from EDGAR. Filers will use S-4POS to file a post-effective amendment to an S-4EF and the F-4 POS will be filed as a post-effective amendment to an F-4EF registration.

• The EDGAR PDS Technical Specification Document describes the format for various files disseminated to the subscribers. It also provides the definitions for each element in the file.
   
• The EDGAR PDS New Subscriber Document provides configuration, testing, maintenance, and billing information to potential and existing subscribers of the EDGAR public dissemination service feed.
