I am an attorney in Atlanta, Georgia, and my practice areas include the representation of public customers in securities litigation and arbitration.

I write in strong support of the proposed rule to provide customers with the option to choose an all public arbitration panel in all cases.

If aggrieved investors are to be forced into mandatory arbitration of their claims, it is imperative that the arbitration process appear to provide a fair and unbiased forum in which investor grievances can be aired. Allowing investors the option of selecting an all public panel will further that important goal.
