I am an attorney who represents brokerage firm customers in securities arbitration. I strongly support this proposal. It is good that investors will have the choice of an all-public panel when bound to securities arbitration, but the choice they really need is a free choice between court and arbitration, and I urge the SEC to require that investors be given that choice.
