Dear SEC Commissioners,
Please do not give in to industry pressures on Section 1504 of the Dodd-Frank Act (the Cardin-Lugar Amendment) - and make sure that ALL companies are covered, every country and every project gets reported, and loopholes that would allow large sums of money to go unreported are closed.
My Comment:
In business, everything should be done above board. Too often money is raised for a cause that goes unaided because there was no integrity in those controlling the transactions. It is only right to know your business arrangements, as they affect the policy of what goes on with a people that do not share in it their country's great revenue based on its oil resource. How much more needs to be taken from these people before it becomes enough?
