In this volatile market REIT's are one of the few safe investment options for long-term investors. Added government regulation will only serve to hurt investors and punish profitable companies. Returning the majority of profits to investors in the form of dividends is a win-win situation for both parties. Please leave the regulations as they are, do not change or alter them in any way.
