I've been trying to retire and sell my business for two years now but can't afford to with CD rates at .75%. Thank God for MREITS. They are one of the few burning candles in a room shrouded in darkness.
Investing in MREITS does have some inherent risk, namely interest rate risk(which can be properly managed). But it appears that the real risk is in the actions of the regulatory agency that is supposed to protect the investor.
